Q: How do I clear my browser’s Cache and Cookies?
A: Depending on the browser you are using, different steps may apply. To clear the Cache and Cookies in your browser, go ahead and follow the steps applicable to your browser:
Internet Explorer
- Open Internet Explorer,
- Press ALT on your keyboard,
- Select Tools from menu bar,
- Select Internet Options,
- Select the Delete button under Browsing History on the General tab,
- Ensure that Temporary Internet Files and Cookies are selected,
- Select Delete,
- When Internet Explorer has finished clearing the browsing history, Restart Internet Explorer.
Google Chrome
- Open Google Chrome,
- Click the menu on the browser tool bar,
- Select More Tools,
- Select Clear browsing data,
- In the dialogue that appears, select the check boxes for the types of information that you want to remove (Cached images and files),
- Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete. Select beginning of time to delete everything,
- Click Clear browsing data,
- Restart Google Chrome.
Mozilla Firefox
- Open Firefox,
- Click the menu on the browser tool bar,
- Select Options,
- Select Advanced option,
- Select Network tab,
- Click Clear Now button under Cached Web Content,
- Click Clear Now button under Offline Web Content and User Data,
- Click Ok when complete,
- Restart
Now that’s done the Cache and Cookies have been cleared from your browser.
