How to: Login with NT Authentication

There are two ways users can log into the application depending on how it was configured. The first option is using a Username and Password that was set up for or by the user in the application and more information on logging in using this form of authentication can be found here.

The second option is using NT Authentication. If the application is configured to use NT Authentication then this means that the login credentials are controlled by Windows.

When navigating to the application the user will be presented with an NT Login screen as shown below.

You will then be able to log into the application using your Windows Username and Password.

Your Windows administrator can also configure your browser to allow you to log straight onto the application after it is confirmed that you are an authorised user.

The Windows administrator can do this by adding the application URL to the list of Trusted Sites in your Internet Browser.
